Michele De Vivo

Michele De Vivo, a longtime resident of the Bronx,  died on January 5, 2018.  She was 76.

Mrs. De Vivo was born on January 21, 1941 in Sarno, Italy to the late Dominic and Maria (Dolgetta) Esposito. She is pre-deceased by her husband Temistocle De Vivo, who died on May 13, 2011.

She is survived by her daughter, Immaculata De Vivo; her sons, Robert and Joseph De Vivo; her grandchildren, Robert, Alyssa, Christian, and Ciera De Vivo and Samantha Burge; her sisters, Raffaela, Clelia, Dora, and Ida Esposito; her brothers, Emilio and Michele Esposito; and many loving nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her brothers, Aniello and Vincenzo Esposito.

Visiting will be Friday from 3-9pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 10am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 1703 Lurting Avenue, Bronx. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale.

Una donna coraggiosa: sempre noncurante del suo male e sempre uguale fino agli ultimi giorni. Io ed Amelia siamo stati con lei nella casa di Imma durante il nostro soggiorno a Boston. Una donna esuberante e straordinariamente forte. Ci mancherà molto, la nostra adorata amica. Ma lei è sempre con noi. Ci guarda dal Paradiso in cui il Signore l’ha già accolta.

    Robert i am at a loss for words. There is nothing more painfull than losing a mother Many people have said she was a great woman and mother And she should feel proud going to heaven knowing that she left a son. Who is a reminder of his mother a great guy. She raised you well And im sure this is a huge loss to you and your family if there is anything i can do feel free to let me know Frankie flowers. Im in atlanta sorry i cannot attend services

    so sorry i didnt know i am just seeing this now ,she was a friend of mine i use to wax her and her nails ,may she RIP WITH HER HUSBAND WHO SHE LOVED AND MISSED SO MUCH SHE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN ,
