Our Dear Friend Jeannie: Twenty years ago, (on Labor Day Weekend 1997), we tied our boats together in Port Jefferson. That was the weekend Princess Diana died. We have had so many great weekends since then and I can’t picture this Labor Day Weekend without you. To be sure, you were always so full of zest and insisted on helping me in the kitchen. I want to say rest, but I know you won’t; you like to keep busy. We will miss you very much. All our love, Betty and Robert

Jean will be missed here at Tarpon Bay Yacht Club, I enjoyed lots of laughs at our Friday morning ladies breakfasts, Bldg. B parties, and learning to crochet with Jean.
